SafeLoops Recovery

Recovery capability that grows with your customers

SafeLoops turns the smartphones your policyholders already carry into a voluntary, privacy-first recovery network. On-device AI matches visible plates to your live stolen list during journeys people are making anyway. More participation means more opportunities to find vehicles earlier — and reduce theft claim severity.

As the network becomes visible, a deterrent effect is a realistic secondary outcome: thieves already adapt to fixed cameras; a shifting, voluntary crowd is harder to map around.

From link to recovery: the full loop in three steps

How it works

Participants open a branded Progressive Web App and SafeLoops runs while they drive, cycle or walk. It compares visible plates with your live recovery list.

Video is never uploaded and journeys are never recorded. Only when a participant confirms a match does a sighting reach your ops team.

SafeLoops doesn’t expand surveillance. It expands participation.

Private by design. Simple to deploy.

SafeLoops is browser-based and purpose-built for vehicle plate recognition, with WebGPU used where available. No roadside infrastructure is required.

  • No app-store approval cycle
  • No cameras to install or maintain
  • Activation through channels you already use with customers
  • Live Command Center when sightings arrive

Only what recovery needs

A sighting carries plate, time and location, not video, not a journey history, not a continuous stream.

Designed for trust

Participation has to feel safe and light or people will not leave the app on.

  • User choice: a sighting is submitted only when the participant confirms
  • Hands-free ready: mounts work like navigation; voice where it helps
  • Light to start: open a link, no store install, no long sign-up wall

Engaged, motivated, rewarded

SafeLoops is designed for light daily engagement: useful prompts, insurer-funded rewards and a sense of community contribution.

  • Insurer-funded rewards for confirmed sightings, with stronger pay for early or high-value finds
  • Simple progress: stats, streaks and leaderboards make contribution visible
  • Useful prompts: notifications when they matter, not a daily nag
  • Optional live leads: opted-in users can receive a fresh sighting pin and choose whether to stay on route or divert for a ranked reward

For insurers, that creates an ongoing, positive connection with customers around something useful — helping recover stolen vehicles.

Passive scanning builds the network. Optional live leads let people choose when to help.

Built for your ops desk

You already hold the customer relationships, channels and recovery suppliers. SafeLoops puts sightings into a live Command Center with the context and actions your team needs — built for the same agenda as the industry push on vehicle-related crime and claims cost.

  • Trusted brand in the customer’s hand
  • Sightings into live ops, not a disconnected tip line
  • Contact recovery: one-tap SMS to your preferred operators with plate, time and map link
  • Request a drive-by: short paid confirm to nearby opted-in drivers (SMS + push)
  • Notify region: push a live lead to opted-in users near a sighting so they can choose to scan that area for ranked rewards
Command Center: live map and ops monitoring

Command Center: live map and ops board

See it working

In a live session we show the full recovery loop on a real device:

  • Recognition and match
  • Sighting on the live map and ops board
  • Recovery actions: alert recovery, request a drive-by or notify nearby opted-in users

After the demo, a controlled field study is the first step of a regional rollout: known density on a real street, Ops actions included, timings you can take to Approvals. The 90-day is where loss reduction is measured.

Regional rollout, then national

Start where crime density and customer volume make the network valuable fastest. You choose the region — typically a high-theft catchment with enough customers on the road. A field study then shows how participation and Ops behave on the street in that kind of grid, so the 90-day starts with measured timings rather than a first draft.

From day one you can measure:

  • Participation: reach, active scanners and repeat use
  • Signal: sightings, confirmations and live-lead uptake
  • Ops: alerts, drive-by requests and case movement
  • Outcomes: recovery paths influenced, recoveries, and early signals of deterrence as density builds

Then extend the same product, channels and Command Center across the existing customer base.

A recovery network that grows with participation

Your customers are already on the road. As more insurers participate, the network reaches more people and more journeys, creating more opportunities to recognise stolen vehicles across the road network.

Earlier recognition is a severity lever on theft — without a new camera grid. Visible participation can also deter: more eyes, less predictability for organised theft.

We don’t ask society to trade privacy for security. We show you don’t have to.
